The Grace Richardson Conservation Area in Fairfield, Conn., is where locals go to commune with nature and enjoy the wildlife, though "wild life" may have double meaning for some. Per the Connecticut Post, reports of "lewd and sexual activity" started making their way to police earlier this month. When cops went to conduct surveillance, "several violations were observed" and six people were arrested—including two octogenarians. Richard and Joyce Butler, 82 and 85, respectively, were charged with breach of peace (the New York Post IDs them as husband and wife), as was 62-year-old Otto Williams and Charles Ardito, 75. Daniel Dobbins, 67, and 62-year-old John Linartz got hit with a public indecency charge as well.

At least two of the accused are pushing back on the allegations: the Butlers, who tell the Smoking Gun that they "were just sitting in the car to get a little air," per Joyce. Richard is even more indignant about their arrest, noting that he uses a walker and hasn't had sex in "maybe 10 years. I got no blood flow. I got three doctors that would back me up." He says the police pulled them over as they were driving out of the park. Meanwhile, the Post notes that Dobbins was arrested once before on similar charges, in 2017; he was found by cops unclothed in his car, though he says he was naked for medical reasons. All six arrested in the recent bust were released with their promise to appear in court. (More weird crimes stories.)
