Michael Jackson's former publicist claimed Thursday that the late singer left behind a secret will in which he detailed how he wanted his legacy to be preserved—but she has no idea where it is. "I don't have it. I don't know where it is," Raymone Bain said during a bizarre press conference. "I have wished, I have hoped, and I have prayed that Michael Jackson's will—dated Oct. 6, 2006—would be found, revealed, discovered, dropped from the sky. Because in it, he painstakingly outlined how he wanted his legacy to be preserved and maintained." Bain called the press conference to announce the creation of the MJ Legacy Foundation charity to "preserve, protect, and defend" Jackson's name and support the organizations he backed before his death in 2009, USA Today reports.
Bain later said that Jackson considered President Trump to be "a very close friend" and often told her that he "was one of the few people who never turned his back on him, and who was there to help him during his trial," Vulture reports. "I would love to be able to ask the president to help me find Michael Jackson’s 2006 will," she said. During the 25-minute news conference, she also addressed the allegations of child sex abuse in the Jackson documentary Leaving Neverland, calling it "biased" and "one-sided." The singer's estate issued a statement saying Bain is "not authorized to act on behalf of the Michael Jackson Estate nor to use Michael Jackson's name in any way for charitable or her own commercial purposes"—but it agrees with her about the documentary.
