A man who was allegedly filmed rapping about burying a woman in the hours after his girlfriend went missing is now charged in her killing. Police say Robert Anthony Camou, 27, killed Amanda Kathleen Custer, 31, in late July after taking her against her will from the home they shared in Monrovia, Calif., per NBC News and the AP. Camou was out on bail around that time, having pleaded not guilty to charges that he battered and strangled Custer, threatened her with a Taser, and then beat an elderly man who tried to intervene in an attack on April 22. A witness described seeing him move Custer's lifeless body into the trunk of his car on the morning of July 29, authorities say.

Police say Camou's car was seen driving up the San Gabriel Mountains less than an hour later, reports the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. Later that night, Camou was filmed at Los Angeles bar, rapping about killing a woman and burying her in dirt, according to the LA Sheriff's Department, which is reviewing the footage. He was arrested the next day after a five-hour standoff, per CNN. Police say blood and a digging tool were then found in Camou's car, while "evidence of an assault" was also found in his bedroom. Custer's body has not been found. (Police released new details about a missing woman in Connecticut believed to have been murdered.)
