Two more states on Tuesday confirmed deaths related to vaping, bringing the total number of such deaths in the United States to 16. The Virginia and New Jersey deaths were both adults, and were the first deaths in each state from lung injuries associated with vaping. The CDC said last week it is aware of 805 confirmed and probable cases of vaping-related illness in 46 states and the US Virgin Islands, CNN reports. Officials still have not identified the cause.
