Pitchfork notes that Zane Lowe has conducted some of the "most memorable interviews" with Kanye West, and now the New Zealand DJ can add another notch to his belt. In a wide-ranging, nearly two-hour chat on Apple Music's Beats 1, recorded in Wyoming, the 42-year-old performer offered his thoughts on everything from sex and spirituality to his future political aspirations, right before the scheduled drop of his latest album, Jesus Is King, the Guardian and USA Today report. First, the sex and God parts, which are somewhat linked. West says he was first exposed to porn when he found a Playboy magazine at the age of 5, and he became a full-on sexaholic after his mother died in 2007. "Some people drown themselves in drugs, and I drown myself in my addiction: sex," he tells Lowe.

But West, who says he's a hard-core Christian took a different stance on the sex lives of the people working on his new album. "There [were] times where I was asking people to fast," he says. "This is gonna be radical what I'm about to say ... There [were] times when I was asking people to not have premarital sex while they were working on the album." West also calls himself "unquestionably, undoubtedly, the greatest human artist of all time" and dishes about President Trump, MAGA hats, and his own political future: "There will be a time when I will be president of the United States." Meanwhile, USA Today notes West delayed his new album yet again on Friday, thanking his fans in a tweet for being "loyal & patient." "We are specifically fixing mixes on 'Everything We Need' 'Follow God' & 'Water,'" West posted. "We not going to sleep until this album is out!" Much, much more from West here.
