New truck's windows not as strong as the Tesla CEO thought

It was going to be spectacular. In his rollout of Tesla's futuristic truck, CEO Elon Musk had a company engineer throw a metal ball at one of its windows. The idea was that the ball would bounce off harmlessly, demonstrating the amazing strength of the windows. Except the window cracked, notes CNBC. "Maybe that was a little too hard," said Musk, laughing. Franz Von Holzhausen then tried another window, and it cracked, too. (Watch the video via Time.) "We threw wrenches, we threw everything even literally the kitchen sink at the glass and it didn’t break," Musk told the audience. "For some weird reason, it broke now. I don’t know why.
