Elijah Moore will probably never get down again on his hands and knees and pretend to urinate like a dog. That's a good guess, anyway, after the Ole Miss sophomore's antics during Thursday's annual matchup over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend between the University of Mississippi Rebels and Mississippi State University Bulldogs. Per CBS Sports, the Rebels wide receiver caught a 2-yard pass for a touchdown with just a few seconds left in the game, bringing the score to 21-20, in favor of the Bulldogs. The Rebels could've tied it up with a successful kick for the extra point, but then Moore celebrated his TD with a big no-no: He fell on all fours in the end zone, lifted his right leg, and made like he was peeing, canine-style.

That move drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, which, as CNN notes, forced Ole Miss kicker Luke Logan back an extra 15 yards for a 36-yard extra-point attempt; Logan missed it, leading to a Bulldogs victory. The win made them eligible for a bowl game. "That's not who we are," said "disappointed" Rebels coach Matt Luke afterward, per the Star Tribune, adding that Moore is "a good kid ... [who] just got caught up in the moment." It may not be who they are now, but they've been just this in the past: The Rebels' DK Metcalf pulled the same stunt in 2017. Sports writer Timothy Burke noted Moore's move, and the aftermath, even went global: Russian sportscasters watching the game seemed thoroughly amused by the entire sequence of events, emitting a low "Oooooohhh" when Moore lifted his leg, then laughing hysterically when Logan's kick hooked right.
