Some guys have all the luck—but not Rod Stewart on New Year's Eve, apparently. Per Page Six, a worker at the Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Fla., is accusing the British singer, 74, and his 39-year-son, Sean, of causing an altercation Tuesday evening, with a report from the Palm Beach Police Department noting that during the fracas' most heated moment, the elder Stewart punched the worker. The employee alleges that the Stewarts, along with some children who were with them, tried to crash a private kids event at the resort, and that when they refused to leave, that's when things got physical. The worker says when asked to "back up," Sean Stewart got "nose-to-nose" with the worker and pushed the worker backward; Rod Stewart, meanwhile, "stepped toward [the victim] and threw a punch, striking [them] in [their] left rib cage area ... with a closed fist," per the report.

Based on footage from the resort's cameras, the report notes the Stewarts seemed to be "the primary aggressors," with the video showing "evidence that Roderick Stewart did intentionally strike [the victim] against [their] will." Fox News notes Sean Stewart has been in trouble with the law before, including being sentenced to three months in jail in 2002 for kicking an unconscious person outside a restaurant, as well as being arrested in 2015 for taking a ride on the luggage carousel at the Miami airport. The victim in this most recent case intends to press charges. Both Stewarts, who may be charged with simple battery, are set to appear in court Feb. 5. (More Rod Stewart stories.)
