The impeachment limbo is apparently near an end. Nancy Pelosi signaled Friday that the House will send articles of impeachment to the Senate next week, reports Politico. "I have asked Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler to be prepared to bring to the Floor next week a resolution to appoint managers and transmit articles of impeachment to the Senate," Pelosi wrote in a letter to House Democrats. She added that further details on the timeline will come Tuesday during a meeting of the House Democratic caucus, per the Hill. The Senate is expected to act quickly to start its trial upon receiving the articles. Pelosi's move comes more than three weeks after the House passed the articles. (More Trump impeachment stories.)
