'In Memoriam' Tribute Had Surprising Omission

Hollywood said goodbye to beloved stars including Kirk Douglas, Danny Aiello, and Oscar-winner Kobe Bryant as Billie Eilish sang "Yesterday" during the "In Memoriam" segment of the Academy Awards on Sunday—but there were some surprising omissions. Luke Perry, who died in March last year at age 52, did not appear in the tribute despite the fact that he appeared in Best Picture nominee Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood, reports People. Other late stars omitted from the tribute included horror legend Sid Haig, Disney star Cameron Boyce, and veteran comedian-actor Orson Bean, who was hit by multiple vehicles Friday.
