"Billy never idles. Neither should you." That's the word from Billy Idol and the NYC Environmental Protection's new anti-idling campaign. As NY 1 reports, vehicle idling is responsible for up to 11% of air pollution in New York City, so the organization decided to use the appropriately named rocker to bring awareness to the issue in a campaign that runs through March. It's having quite a bit of fun with it, too, issuing tweets like "it’s a great day for a…new initiative? A great day for a press conference?" and "Turn your car off…and start agaaaaaaaaaaaain."
