As the coronavirus outbreak takes hold in the US, the NBA has issued players some advice—including not touching the palms of countless strangers. In a memo sent to players and seen by ESPN, the league advises players meeting the public to offer fist bumps instead of high-fives and avoid accepting items like jerseys to be autographed. Sports events have been called off in countries including Italy and Switzerland, though for now, many NBA players do not seem overly concerned. "I'm pretty sure I'm still going to sign some autographs, but maybe I'll just walk around with my own marker," says Kemba Walker of the Celtics. (More NBA stories.)
