The Dow Jones industrial average ended the day up nearly 2,113 points, its biggest-ever one day point gain, per the AP. The 11% surge came as Congress moved closer to passing a coronavirus aid package. Per Marketwatch, the S&P 500 ended the day up nearly 210 points, or 9%, and the Nasdaq was up 557 points, or 8%.
