Two FBI agents were shot to death and three agents were wounded while serving a search warrant in a child pornography case in Florida on Tuesday, reports the AP. Police described an incident in the Fort Lauderdale suburb of Sunrise that began shortly after 6am, noting a suspect was barricaded inside a home, per NBC News. They described the scene as safe just after 9am. The gunman also is dead, and he's believed to have shot himself, the Miami Herald reports. Police said the agents were planning to seize the computer of a man suspected of possessing child pornography.

Two of the hospitalized agents were reported to be in stable condition, with no details available on the third. "In accordance with FBI policy, the shooting incident is under investigation by the FBI's Inspection Division," says an agency statement, per NBC. "Because this is an ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time." The FBI first obtained the suspect's Internet Protocol address from an internet service provider, then determined his physical address from there, per the Herald. (More shooting stories.)
