The day after Simone Biles removed herself from the Team USA gymnastics final, USA Gymnastics announced she is also exiting Thursday's all-around competition at the Tokyo Olympics. Jade Carey will take the 24-year-old's place, the AP reports. "After further medical evaluation, Simone Biles has withdrawn from the final individual all-around competition," the statement reads. "We wholeheartedly support Simone’s decision and applaud her bravery in prioritizing her well-being. Her courage shows, yet again, why she is a role model for so many." It remains to be seen whether Biles will compete in next week's individual events. (More Simone Biles stories.)
