Obama Campaign Asks Pelosi to Quiet Down

Nancy Pelosi has been politely asked by Barack Obama’s campaign to refrain from making more public statements, the American Spectator reports. The House Speaker is reportedly angry about not being more included in campaign decision-making, and Catholic fury over her bungled answer to the “when does life begin?” question on Meet the Press has threatened to undermine Obama’s delicate handling.

"It's like 'Thanks, madam speaker, you've done quite enough. Please move along,'" an Obama adviser told the Spectator. "She got us stuck on issues that we wanted no part of. She's no master strategist, no matter what she may believe. You may see more of her, but if her mouth is open, what comes out won't be anything that our campaign wants anything to do with."
