Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger has asked to be moved to another section of the Idaho Maximum Security Institution, describing "minute to minute verbal threats/harassment." The 30-year-old first requested transfer from J block—a section for high-profile, high-risk prisoners, including death row inmate Chad Daybell—on July 30, his second day in the prison. Five days later, he complained again, saying inmates told him, "I'll b--- f--- you" and "The only a-- we'll be eating is Kohberger's," per Fox News. A guard confirmed "vulgar language" had been "directed towards Kohberger," per People.

Police documents reveal other interactions with inmates, including one who yelled "you suck" at Kohberger and another who called him a "f---ing weirdo" and said he would like to assault him. Kohberger filled out a "resident concern form" addressed to the deputy warden, requesting a meeting and transfer to another protective housing wing. "Tier 2 of J-block is an environment that I wish to transfer from if possible," he wrote. "I request transfer to B block immediately." A prison official responded that he should "give it some time" as J block is "generally a fairly calm and quieter tier." Kohberger remained in J block as of Wednesday morning, per Fox.
