Colin Powell has yet to make up his mind which way he'll vote in November, MSNBC reports. Speaking at a forum with four other former secretaries of state yesterday, the Republican said he would let neither his quarter-century friendship with John McCain—nor the "electrifying" prospect of the first African-American president—be the sole deciding factor.
"We have to make a judgment here," Powell said. "Which of the candidates blends a right measure of experience and judgment?" Powell said he would be paying close attention to the candidates' platforms, and he hoped the campaign would back away from the "lipstick on a pig stuff" and return to the issues.
