A man whose violent driving episodes span two states will be off the road for years. A judge in Honolulu this week gave 33-year-old Nathaniel Radimak a seven-year prison term for a 2025 road-rage assault on two women, reports KHON 2. At the time, Radimak was on parole in California for a string of similar cases, where he earned the nickname of the "Tesla road rage" driver, per Hawaii News Now. "The roads may change, but the defendant's behavior does not," said prosecutor Hon-Lum Y. Cheung-Cheng.
In the Hawaii case, video seen in court showed Radimak turning his car around to confront Diane and Iwalani Ung, mother and daughter, and then verbally and physically attacking them both. Diane needed eight stitches to close a cut on her forehead. "I take accountability. I just feel bad about it," said Radimak in court. He and his attorneys say he suffers from mental health issues and is undergoing treatment. The judge's sentence was one year longer than prosecutors requested.
