Stocks inched into the red this morning, with the Dow down 38 and the S&P and Nasdaq off 0.5% and 0.9% at the open, the Wall Street Journal reports, but those declines come on the heels of four straight days of gains. The market closes early today, and with no major economic reports on the docket, traders are expecting a sleepy, low-volume post-Thanksgiving session. (More stock market stories.)
