An old ankle injury could sideline Brit soccer superstar David Beckham, postponing his long-anticipated debut with the LA Galaxy this Saturday. "We're not going to force him," said coach Frank Yallop.  The beefcake half of the PoshBecks phenomenon arrived with his former Spice Girl wife, Victoria, in LA last week, and was greeted by thousands of fans at the field.

Becks was scheduled to play an exhibition match against Chelsea, but he was still favoring an ankle injured last month in Europe. Meanwhile, his former Real Madrid captain revealed that he has also been offered a job in America, but provided no details. "I hope it's not here," said a half-jesting Yallop.
