Monkey See, Monkey Beat

A Chinese animal trainer found his trio of performing monkeys to be quick learners when he tried to give one a public beating, the Daily Mail reports. One of the bicycle-riding monkeys twisted the man's ear while another sank its teeth into his head. A third picked up the man's stick and battered him over the head with it until it broke.

"They were once wild and these performances don’t always come naturally to them," conceded the battered owner, who is now being investigated on charges of animal cruelty. "They may have built up some feelings of hatred toward me." (More animal attack stories.)
