Sure, he cleaned up in the electoral college, but how’s Barack Obama’s golf game? According to one vocal observer, it beats his bowling, the Chicago Tribune reports. The “protective pool” of press that tails Obama 24/7 offers a play-by-play of his day on a Hawaiian green, describing “a shot that flew low and straight for about 75 yards before landing at the front, center-edge of the green.”

“‘That was pretty good, right?’” the president-elect asked a watching crowd of more than 100. “‘That almost made up for my 20 yard drive.’” Next, he “tapped the ball about a dozen feet before it stopped within a foot of the cup," wrote a Honolulu Advertiser reporter. "The crowd applauded and Obama turned to them, put his hand above the bill of his baseball cap, and bowed.”
