Barack Obama is moving to DC this weekend, and he's already got an interesting lunch date lined up next week with some fellows named George Bush (both of them), Clinton, and Carter, ABC News reports. Wednesday's meeting at the White House will bring together the president-elect with all the living former presidents for the first time.
As Obama gets ready for his big move, a Bush spokesman rejected the notion of a "parallel" presidency, the Boston Globe notes. "Well, as this last week has shown, we're still pretty busy around here," he said. "President Bush uniquely understands the role and the job that President-elect Obama is about to take in, I think, 18 days and understands that he needs to put a team together and work for the future of the United States."
