The verbal back-and-forth between Barack Obama and Rush Limbaugh continued today, as the talk-show host shot back at the president for comments he made last week, the New York Post reports. Obama is “not a unifier and not bipartisan,” Limbaugh said, and “wants me to fail.” Obama had told GOP leaders, “You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done.”

Limbaugh opened his show today by saying, “I’m the man you should not be listening to, according to President Obama.” Limbaugh managed to criticize congressional Republicans at the same time he bashed Obama. “The Republicans haven’t been listening to me anyway,” he said. “He’s more frightened of me than he is of John Boehner, which doesn’t say much for our party.” (Read more President Obama stories.)
