Obamas Visit the Queen, Bearing Gifts: iPod, Songbook

President Obama and Michelle Obama visited Buckingham Palace for a private meeting with Queen Elizabeth II, the AP reports. They brought gifts, ABC News reports: a personalized iPod and a rare songbook signed by the legendary American composer Richard Rodgers. Several thousand well-wishers crowded the traffic circle in front of the gated palace to cheer and wave as the limousine carrying the first couple rolled past.

Obama has been engaged in a flurry of diplomacy ahead of the G-20 summit. He's already met with Gordon Brown, Dmitry Medvedev, and Hu Jintao, and has accepted invitations to visit Russia and China later this year. While in London he also intends to meet with David Cameron, head of Britain's conservative party and Brown's chief rival.
