Dolla's shooting in a Los Angeles mall yesterday may have been the result of a fight at a strip club in the rapper's hometown of Atlanta the week before, police sources tell the Los Angeles Times. Accused killer Aubrey Louis Berry, an events promoter, had a row with the 21-year-old rapper at a club frequented by the hip-hop community.

An employee of Atlanta's Platinum 21 club told the Times that Dolla had an argument with a man known as "AB" at the club, which erupted into a brawl as groups supporting each man shouted threats and gang slogans. LAPD detectives plan to travel to Atlanta to investigate the events concerning Dolla, who traveled to Los Angeles to finish his first album.
