Sarah Palin recently said she’d be up for campaigning for some Democrats, but the interest doesn’t appear mutual, Politico reports: Many dove for cover upon being asked. “That’s a new one on me,” said a Georgia rep before ducking into an elevator. “There may be things we agree on, but there’s a lot of things we disagree on,” added a twitchy North Carolina congressman.
“I think, like a lot of places, she has some people that really like her and, you know—but overall, I’m not sure how she’d do” in Arkansas, the state’s junior senator said just before entering a luncheon. But a few more conservative Dems seemed a bit more interested. “I’m sure that there are many ways that she could be helpful,” said one from Georgia. “I just don’t know what ways those are.” (More Sarah Palin stories.)
