Quarterback Brian Brohm and his Louisville Cardinals impressed their new coach last night, scoring touchdowns on their first eight drives and totaling 655 offensive yards in a landslide 73-10 victory against Murry State. The No. 10 team found its stride with coach Steve Kragthorpe's new game plan, scoring on all but one possession, the AP reports.
Brohm left the game at 56-10 early in the second half after throwing for 375 yards, 151 of those to receiver Harry Douglas, who scored two touchdowns. Murray State did manage to break through the Cardinal defense and tie the game in the first quarter, until Louisville's juggernaut offense got into full swing. (Read more NCAA football stories.)
