Patrick Swayze’s ashes will be spread across his New Mexican Rancho de Días Alegres (Ranch of Happy Days), which he called his favorite place in the world, a source tells Radar. The actor’s body, currently in Los Angeles, will be cremated within 48 hours. More Swayze news:

  • The Time of My Life, the actor's book written with wife Lisa Niemi, is still set for a Sept. 29 release; Access Hollywood has a first look at the cover.

  • Swayze’s co-stars continue to offer tributes, with Keanu Reeves recalling their time on Point Break. “There was some skydiving sequences in this film we did together and it came to be that Patrick was jumping out of airplanes all the time. I think he had over 30 jumps during the course of filming and so the production served him with a cease and desist which he listened to until they got to Hawaii. I can say what I know that he lived life to the fullest. ”
