By remaining at the forefront of various political arguments while avoiding interviews and traditional politicking, Sarah Palin has boldly mastered a new political trick, reports Politico. The former Alaskan governor has relied almost solely on social networking new media, such as Facebook, to spread her message about "death panels" and other missives—and neatly ducked media questions or challenges to her positions.

After dropping off the traditional media grid, Palin now claims 850,000 Facebook "friends" who eagerly await her next post, which aren't all that frequent. It took Palin 5 days to respond to criticism from both parties concerning her post insisting that health care reform would involve "death panels." Even political enemies admit her style fits online networking perfectly.
