Michelle, First Ladies to Swing By Pa. Farm, Museum

In her first outing as an international hostess, Michelle Obama is welcoming the spouses of world leaders to Pittsburgh today with a program covering some of her own interests: art and architecture, arts education, sustainable farming, and locally grown food. The first lady and her guests will have dinner tonight at a working farm owned by Teresa Heinz Kerry. The farm raises livestock and grows fruits and vegetables, some of which will be served at the private dinner.

Tomorrow the spouses will visit a magnet performing arts school and drop in on students' rehearsals. They'll also attend a performance featuring cellist Yo-Yo Ma, country star Trisha Yearwood, and singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles. Afterward, it's off to the Andy Warhol Museum, exhibiting the work of Pittsburgh's native son, where the first ladies will be invited to open one of the artist's hundreds of time capsules.
