Cops: Teens Studied Stars, Then Robbed Their Homes
Burglars are caught on a surveillance camera at Lindsey Lohan's house.   (LAPD)

Four teenage girls have been arrested for allegedly breaking into a slew of celebrity homes, sometimes more than once, and making off with glamorous souvenirs. Police say the girls would study the stars, picking out clothes and jewelry they wanted to make off with, and figuring out when they’d be away from home. Then they’d break in, grab the baubles and leave; sometimes the stars wouldn’t even realize they’d been robbed. Among the victims: Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Orlando Bloom.

One of the teens' attorneys says it was more prank than money-making scheme. “It would be fun to do capers. It was all about fun,” he says, “It was one of those cases of you get bored, and it was something to do.” But another of the girls is set to appear in a reality TV show, and she’s denying any part in the robberies. So far none of the girls have been charged. (More celebrities stories.)
