A $1.1 million amphibious bus is one of the options Scottish authorities are considering to replace ferry service between two towns on the River Clyde near Glasgow. The “amfibus” looks like the average bus on the road, but has a hull and twin jets that power it through the water. The Dutch-made vehicle had some glitches in testing yesterday, the BBC reports, but was back on the road, and water, today.
