The Dallas Cowboys struggled in the first half but quarterback Tony Romo pulled them together to defeat the Chicago Bears last night, 34-10, reports the Chicago Tribune. The 3-3 halftime score speaks to the messy play: interceptions, false starts, muffed catches, and blocked field goals plagued both teams. But in the third quarter, Romo ran away with the game.

Romo made 11 of his 14 passes in two third-quarter touchdown drives, which made up 166 of his total 329 passing yards. Terrell Ownes received 145 of those yards, and Marion Barber rushed 102 yards for another touchdown. Bears quarterback Rex Grossman threw for 195 yards and was intercepted and sacked three times each. Chicago is now 1-2 this season. (More NFL stories.)
