The MC at yesterday's Tea Party rally in Boston floated a new reason to swing to the right politically: Conservative women are sexier than their left-of-center peers. Coming on just after Sarah Palin, sporting a red leather jacket, spoke on Obama, oil and energy, he commented, "You hear that my lefty friends? Conservative women—they're smarter than you and they're hotter than you."
The head of a conservative women's group, Penny Young Nance, welcomed the compliment. "No doubt ... Sarah Palin is an attractive woman," she tells ABC News. "I like the idea that she embraces her femininity." And the generalization holds, she adds. "Conservative women are not afraid to embrace their femininity," she says. "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world."
