South Park's recent Mohammad mess hasn't soured Comedy Central on religion. The network, seemingly hungry for more controversy, is developing an animated series about Jesus, writes the Hollywood Reporter. JC sees the savior trying to escape an overbearing father—God apparently plays video games constantly—and live a normal life in New York City.
Comedy Central honcho Kent Alterman isn't worried about potential blowback—at least not right now: "We don't even know what the show is yet," he said. Producers from The Office and American Dad are on board the project.
