The Cleveland Indians took Game 4 of the ALDS, defeating the Yankees 6-4 last night to advance to the ALCS, reports the AP. While the Indians have their eye on their first World Series title since 1948, questions consume the Bronx: Will Joe Torre get the ax? Can the Yanks afford to keep their free agents? And where was Alex Rodriguez throughout this series?

Despite their disappointment, Torre's team is rallying around him. "I love Mr. T," proclaimed Derek Jeter. Jorge Posada claimed the poor post-season showing was "not his fault." Mariano Rivera isn't sure he would want to play for another manager, and Andy Pettitte wants Torre to manage the Yankees "forever." (More MLB stories.)
