Chambers replaces rookie Buster Davis, who in turn was filling in for injured starter Eric Parker. He leaves a floundering 0-6 Dolphins team for a trendy pre-season Super Bowl pick. At 3-3, the Chargers have underperformed, especially on offense, which has superstar LaDainian Tomlinson on the ground but only tight end Antonio Gates as a noteworthy weapon through the air.
