"You don't want two presidents at one wedding," President Obama quipped on The View when asked if he'd be at Chelsea Clinton's wedding this weekend. "All the Secret Service, guests going through" metal detectors, "all the gifts being torn apart." OK, the truth is the prez wasn't invited, he admitted when asked by Barbara Walters, MSNBC reports. "I think Hillary and Bill, properly, want to keep this thing for Chelsea and her soon-to-be husband," he said graciously.

The president said he completely agreed with the sentiment. "Sorry, y'all probably will not be getting invited to Sasha’s wedding or Malia’s wedding, either," he told the audience. Obama also explained why he chose to appear on The View ("I was trying to find a show that Michelle actually watched") and some of the "thorns" of his presidency: "Where do I begin?" he asked, before citing economic troubles, the BP oil spill, and the swine flu "pandemic." The show—the first appearance by a sitting president on a daytime talk show—airs today. (More President Obama stories.)
