Australian tax officials have their jaws around Crocodile Dundee star Paul Hogan and they won't let go. Hogan, now a Los Angeles resident, returned to Australia for his mother's funeral last week and authorities issued an order barring him from leaving the country again until he pays a multimillion-dollar tax bill, CBS News reports.
Australian authorities say Hogan owes taxes on tens of millions of dollars in undeclared income. The actor denies any wrongdoing, and insists he has paid his fair share of tax. Hogan's wife, Crocodile Dundee co-star Linda Kozlowski, back home in Los Angeles with their 12-year-old son, is "devastated beyond belief" by the development, the Australian reports. There is no time limit to how long Hogan can be forced to stay in Australia.
