Silvio Berlusconi's critics are demanding an apology after the Italian leader hit a new low with wisecracks about Hitler and his own sexual prowess at a youth rally over the weekend. "A little after Hitler died his supporters discovered he was in fact still alive," Berlusconi told cheering members of his party's youth wing. "They went to look for him to convince him to come back and he replied: “Yes I will return but on one condition—this time I will be evil, right?"

The 73-year-old lothario went on to boast that many young women wanted to marry him, because he is older, wealthy, and "legend has it, I know how to do it." He told the crowd that they should do their best to marry into money, and reminded them that his daughter is single. Opposition politicians described Berlusconi as an embarrassment to the nation, and demanded he apologize for the Hitler gag, the Guardian reports. "At this point, the problem is not political or judicial, but psychiatric," said the leader of the Values party. (More Silvio Berlusconi stories.)
