A 34-year-old Pennsylvania man crashed his car into the waiting area of a license exam center yesterday, mere moments after completing his driving test with flying colors. “He thought he had it in park, but he didn’t,” a police sergeant tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “He panicked and hit the accelerator.” The car careened over the curb and through the glass doors of the building.

“It was pretty crazy,” says one 18-year-old witness. “I turned around and it had just plowed right into the front.” Four people suffered minor injuries, and two were taken to the hospital. The driver was unharmed, as was the instructor—who was still in the passenger seat. “He just kept apologizing," said the sergeant. "He didn’t mean to do it.” Alas, he received a failing grade and won't get his license.
