A pair of Swedish men who ran a live online porn business in the Philippines have received life sentences for human trafficking. Police discovered 17 naked women, some of them underage, when they raided the business in a small town in the southern Philippines, the BBC reports. The women would perform sex acts in front of webcams for Internet clients.

"Disrespect for Filipino women and violations of our laws deserve the strongest condemnations from this court," the judge wrote. Three Filipino accomplices received 20-year sentences. The Philippines has become a major center for the cybersex trade in recent years and authorities believe thousands more girls, some of them much younger than 18, are employed by similar foreign-owned operations.
