Sarah Palin and Donald Trump gorged on pepperoni pizza and mutual admiration last evening in a Manhattan stop on a Palin bus tour looking more and more like a presidential campaign. "She didn't ask me" to run with her, "but I'll tell you, she's a terrific woman," almost-presidential contender Trump gushed as the two entered the Famous Famiglia pizza shop near Times Square. "Every time you go to New York, you gotta see Donald Trump," Palin announced as she finished up the common-man's meal. "I approve of his independence. I told him, 'don't shy away from speaking out.'"
Palin requested the meeting on her "One Nation" tour during which she and her family are visiting patriotic sites in a giant bus painted with an image of the preamble of the American Constitution. "They are friends and have been talking for a while about getting together when the governor is in town," a Trump spokesman told the New York Daily News. "Not for nothing, I think Mr. Trump can teach a lot of these politicians a lot." (More Sarah Palin stories.)
