An apparently indestructible 95-year-old man is doing well after being stung more than 400 times by a swarm of bees in Redondo Beach, California. Police say the man was walking near his home yesterday when he was attacked by the bees, which had been agitated by a fumigator trying to exterminate a hive in a nearby apartment building. He was treated at a hospital and was expected to be released. "Most men would have died, but he's taking it in stride," a police sergeant tells the Los Angeles Times. (Read more California stories.)
