He's either very serious about fashion or in dire need of lessons on channeling anger: California police say a man sped off in his car after an argument at home and then tried to run down a pedestrian. The walker's offense? The driver "made statements to the effect of: He didn't like the plaid jacket the man was wearing," a police sergeant tells the San Francisco Chronicle. The pedestrian jumped safely away, and the driver is jailed on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. (Read more strange stuff stories.)
