Roger Clemens spent five hours testifying to congressional lawyers under oath; he said he told them he never used performance-enhancing drugs. The seven-time Cy Young Award winner’s closed-door, sworn testimony, along with that of Yankee’s teammate Andy Pettitte, is part of the preparation for the public, Feb. 13 hearings, which are expected to center on Brian McNamee’s allegations in the Mitchell Report that he injected the Rocket with steroids and human growth hormone over a dozen times throughout his career.
