Surveillance video of ... something ... strolling around Norwalk, California, is becoming the city's "version of Bigfoot," reports the LA Times. State officials don't think the creature in the grainy video is a mountain lion, reports KTLA, but they're not hazarding a guess about what it might be. Among the possibilities getting tossed around: an African lioness, a big pit bull, a leopard, or some kind of big-cat hybrid. "It's still a mystery," the mayor tells ABC News. The animal was captured on video walking across somebody's driveway at 3:44am. "If a lion is out there like that, it shouldn't be happening," says the director of a local big-cat sanctuary. (The hunt for Bigfoot isn't going so well, either.)
