Kobe Bryant's injured  pinkie finger looked just fine last night as the Los Angeles Lakers superstar scored 30 points to lead the Lakers to a 96-83 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, reports AP. The win is the ninth in a row for LA, which at 40-17 is tops in the tough Western Conference. The Blazers have lost eight of nine.

The Lakers clung to a two-point lead going into the fourth quarter when Bryant took over with 11 points. Los Angeles' defense was solid as well, holding the Blazers to 36% shooting. A win tomorrow against Miami would give the Lakers their 21st double-digit winning streak in franchise history and their 17th since moving from Minneapolis to Los Angeles. (More NBA stories.)
